Fall Ball has begun! Most of the Fall Ball teams are now full. The filled teams are Minors, Entering Majors, and Juniors. Returning Majors is nearly full, so please register soon if you want a place on that team. Fall Ball is an instructional program with a focus on fun and skill development rather than competition. Games are played on 8 Sundays, September through October. Fall Ball divisions depend on registrations and usually include Entering Minors, Returning Minors, Entering Majors, Returning Majors, and Juniors. West Marin teams play other teams in our Little League District. To register (Returning Majors only, please), click the button at left (Register Online for Our Events). Welcome to West Marin Little League! Our boundaries encompass some of the most beautiful landscapes and communities of Marin: San Anselmo, Fairfax, Woodacre, San Geronimo, Forest Knolls, Lagunitas, Nicasio, Olema, Point Reyes, Inverness, Stinson Beach and Bolinas. Each of our teams shares a home field and travels to "away" games at other fields within our boundaries. Dedicated baseball-fan volunteers in each community maintain the fields, using funds raised by the League. In fact, West Marin Little League is run entirely by volunteers. We welcome parents and community members to join us. Its lots of fun. It enriches our lives and the lives of kids, who get the wonderful experience of playing Little League baseball here in West Marin. This website was created (by volunteers of course) from a template, and its pages are being developed gradually. Our previous webmaster is no longer able to work on the website, and we apologize for any gaps in information. If you would like to help make updates or improvements to the website, please let us know (see the Board page). It's easy to learn to work on the website; you use templates and plug in information. The current Webmaster will train the new one. Some other great volunteer role openings include: Secretary; Treasurer; Registrar; Field Maintenance heads; Umpire Coordinator; and more. For many of the Board openings, you can start as an assistant to a current board member for the Fall/Spring 2009 season to learn the ropes. The current holders of the outgoing positions will all be happy to train you and support you, making it easy and fun to get involved. Several West Marin Little League Board members are graduating out of the league as their players enter high school, and it is a great time to get involved and bring your energy and ideas to the Board. Please let us know how you can get involved. See the Board page for contact information. Congratulations to West Marin's Spring Season Champions! Juniors: Tigers Majors: Bobcats Minors: Angels League Age for the 2009 season is the players age on April 30, 2009. League Age determines the division(s) in which a child is eligible to play in Little League. The Fall Ball season is based on 2009 League age. Two important notes: To be eligible to enter T-Ball in Spring 2009, a child must have reached the age of 5 by April 30, 2009. To be eligible to play in the Majors in Spring 2009, a player must not have reached the age of 13 by April 30, 2009.
