Fall Ball Season Divisions of Play & Fees
For our Fall Ball program, we offer divisions for all kids aged 6-14 according to Little League International's age chart (your player's age as of 8/31). Please refer to the Little League age chart linked below to determine your child's Little League Age for the Fall Ball 2025 season.
Please note that the Fall Ball divisions differ slightly from our Spring baseball divisions. Click here to learn more about our Spring divisions.
Farm ($185) – For 6, 7 and 8 year old players who have had at least one season of baseball in any league, at any level, and plan to play entering or returning Farm in the upcoming Spring season.
Entering Minors ($185) – For 8 and 9 year old players who played Farm or Minors AA and plan to play Minors AA in the upcoming Spring season.
Returning Minors ($185) – For 9 and 10 year old players who played AA or AAA last season and plan to play Minors AAA in the upcoming Spring season.
Entering Majors ($185) – For 10 and 11 year olds who played AAA last season and intend to play Majors in the upcoming Spring season.
Returning Majors ($185) – For 11 and 12 year olds who have played a season of Majors and intend to be returning to the Majors division in the upcoming Spring season.
Juniors ($215) – For 13 and 14 year old players who intend to play at the Juniors level in the upcoming Spring season.
Volunteers - As a community-based, non-profit, 100 percent volunteer-operated league, we literally could not run this wonderful league without you. Please do not hesitate to volunteer as a Fall Ball team manager, coach or in any other capacity if you have interest. We welcome you!
Buddy, Coach & Special Division Requests
When registering, select the age appropriate division for your player. If you want to request for your son or daughter to be eligible to “play up” in an older division, enter that request in the special request section on the registration form. Please note, however, that limited play up requests are granted as our experience over many years has shown that players benefit more from being in an age appropriate division as opposed to possibly having to compete for playing time and not pitching in an older division. Likewise, enter “play down” requests in the special request section if you feel your child may be better suited based on their skill level or otherwise.
For our Fall Ball program, WMLL will do our best to accommodate friend and team requests. Please note that during our Spring baseball season, buddy requests are only considered for T-ball and Farm level divisions, as all placements for our Minors, Majors and Juniors divisions are done via draft based on their player assessments. Coaches will always be paired with their children.
WMLL reserves the right to re-assign a child to a division other than the one in which he or she is originally registered or requested by his parent. This is done for a variety of reasons: safety, the need for equal teams, for the development of any one particular child, to ensure that each division has the requisite number of players, or for the general well-being of the league as a whole.
Team Sizes
To ensure an optimal experience for all players and volunteers, registration may be capped by division based on the number of teams we are able to fill as well as the number of coaches who register. Our goal is to have a maximum of 15 players per team for the Fall season.
We will do our best to accommodate each player as needed to place them on a team that best fits their schedule and ability level. If you have any known conflicts, please make sure to input those into your registration.
If in the unfortunate event that inadequate registration within a division occurs, we may potentially merge divisions or move players up or down to best accommodate all (or if needed, cancel a division and refund all affected accordingly). Additionally, if we are unable to place your child on an appropriate team with practice/game times that work adequately to participate, we will provide refunds as needed.
Please register as early as possible, and reach out to any friends, former teammates and classmates to do so as well. The more participation we get, the better experience we can provide for everyone!
